I guess everyone should ask them to release source code for our device.

I already sent a while ago an email to sourcecode-request@le.com and asked in their forum for that but they deleted it lol.

So, please everyone just ask them same way or via any social media to release source code. We should let them know that we need it!

Hi, everybody. I'm a little friend from china. I am very disappointed with this phone, fully realized Qualcomm 652 processor is not good! In fact, this phone belongs to cool does not belong to the music, the official only a month to update the ROM beta. I really hope that the follow-up can be open source

Hey,

I just signed the petition "Coolpad: Kernel sources for Cool1" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.

Our goal is to reach 100 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:

Thanks!
Sanjay

I singed it too.

But is it really Coolpad that is responsible for kernel? I thought that LeEco is responsible for this device software-wise.

Just wondering, I might be wrong.

Reason 1 : Cool1 is released in India and China by Coolpad. So Coolpad is responsible for releasing the kernel sources.

Reason 2 : This phone is from Coolpad. Le Eco only has the majority of the stakes.
